Need help!!2007 Honda Shadow 750 Aero /been sitting for 8 years /7900 miles!/All fluids changed, New battery of course and new carb/Fired up and runs great/engine oil light stays on during idle/Goes off and stays off when you give it gas and are riding it/changed pressure oil switch/didn't solve problem/Run 50/50 mixture of kerosene/oil twice thru engine/problem still not solved/What do you suggest I do next?

I've missed choppers like this for many years. Growing up choppers were out there. This is a fantatsic piece of work. My hat is off to them.

Have you ever had any problems with the seal kit that you use to seal up the gas tank with I would be very curious because I have one that I am trying to get the rust out of right now with some rust remover and I wanna put a liquid seal in it afterwards.

Im currently building my 750. Just got my carb kit, exhaust, and velocity stacks.

This is a very basic question so I apologize for the ignorance, when I do this, what is stopping my fuel valve from clogging with red koat? Do I just stick something through the fitting afterwards?

Similar for Harley’s, too. Too many riders turn the idle down so much that the oil pumps pressure is too low to move oil around. Plus, when idles are too low, don’t forget the engine needs to get up to enuf power to get going with your buds. The engine speed needed to even let the clutch out needs to get up way over the potato idle. My big twin idle is recommended at 950-1000 rpm from a fully hottened up engine. I will take it for a half hour toot and then adjust my idle as needed to set it.

Great video, I have a question though... I have an 86 shadow vt1100, my manual says 1000 rpm +/- 100 but im pretty sure it is dual pin (please correct me if im wrong), what's up with that? I honestly think it sounds better at a higher idle.

Amazing! Too bad that people havent industrialized these sort of things. Couldve saved a lot of headache and possible danger for the Normal Squids out on the road. I drive a Yamaha Virago 250 Custom Bobber/chopper. Would love to see more of this for other bikes like mine.

Zip tie to hang up caliper, check. Also old brake pad, piece of wood between the pads because there WILL be a 'friend' that can't resist pulling on the brake lever whilst it's off the bike!!
